How can I use the company profiles to find a job?
When searching the job listings on our network, you'll notice that we list employers and individual job listings. This is a very important part of the job search process left out by many career sites. The profiles contain a link to the employer's official site. Be sure to visit the sites of these employers for jobs in your area. For more information on using this technique in your search, read this short article.
Can I post my resume on the site?
No. We do not allow applicants to post resumes on our sites mainly because we feel applicants should not post their personal and confidential information on the web for anybody in the world to see. We encourage you to apply directly with the companies. For more information, read this short article.
Can you send me jobs?
No. All the job listings are on the site.
Can you help me find a job?
No. We are not an employment service. All the information we have is on the sites.
Can you give me individual advice?
No. But, you can read our advice in our 'Career Articles' section. If you need help finding a job, you may want to contact an agency or a career consultant listed in our 'Recruiters' section.
Can you get me in contact with an employer?
No. The information in the job listing is all the information we have. Please follow the directions in each ad to apply directly with the company.
Can I apply for a job through you?
No. Please follow the directions in the ad to apply directly with the company.
I cannot access certain parts of the site?
You are likely using an old browser or Netscape. While we design all of our sites for older versions of Internet Explorer and Netscape, some of our partners do not. While you will be able to access the bulk of the content on our sites since we control most of it, you will have trouble on a few select sections. However, most companies have chosen to design their web sites specifically for newer versions of Internet Explorer. So, you may want to upgrade anyway.
One of the sites in your network does not have a lot of information.
We're constantly adding new sites to our network. So if you come across a site that lacks a lot of content, it is likely a new site. Keep checking back on that site for more information.
